We recently teamed up with our friends at DAS Event to create a solution for displaying speaker names and event logos within onstage speaker comfort/coffee tables. The challenge we were faced with was we had to create a dynamic solution, that would allow for last minute changes in speakers and the ability to move the speakers names around in case someone sat in the wrong seat. We also needed to create something that was cost effective and didn’t require a long lead time creating a bespoke application. Hayden running the show…Well the macs at least. This was taken in Abu Dhabi Palace doing speaker prep and operating the show. You might wonder why the puffy jacket, but it was freezing in the ballroom…Why is AC in the UAE either off or on Polar blast? You will note the nice looking Macs behind me…They are ours FYI. I was also booked to handle the speaker prep, management and operate the show. Glad everyone is coming around to our thinking…Macs are just better for AV Control!!

We just took stock of some funky new iPad/iPhone stands. They secure to the table and then you stick them to the device with 3M tape. They have an alarm and charging cable so great in public places. They base and ipad holder are 2 peices so you can take the device out of the cradle hold it in your hand and then in seats itself back when you place it back on the stand. We are now all setup in our new office. We have moved from Vista Tower which was far less than ideal and now have an office in the Stroall self storage facility in Jebal Ali Industrial Park 2. We are still getting it arranged but we are stoked with it. We have much better parking for trucks, easy access, and close to DIP and major highways. We have more room for prep and testing so it saves us loads of time. Everything gets checked in and out, even the screen adapters.
