We just took stock of some funky new iPad/iPhone stands. They secure to the table and then you stick them to the device with 3M tape. They have an alarm and charging cable so great in public places. They base and ipad holder are 2 peices so you can take the device out of the cradle hold it in your hand and then in seats itself back when you place it back on the stand.
